We have partnered with the Red Cross to provide you access to a variety of on line training courses. Below you can find information on all courses that we currently offer and feel free to contact us if you have any questions about the courses we offer or potential future courses.

In accordance with the measures being taken by health authorities across the country to help stop the spread of COVID-19, RecTec will only be offering on-line training at this time.

 Currently we are highlighting the Red Cross Psychological First Aid Programs: We have 2 on- line course offerings available and RecTec will donate $1.00 from each registration to the Canadian Emergencies & COVID-19 Response Fund.

 We encourage Clubs and Sport organizations to offer the Psychological First Aid Program to their athletes, coaches and volunteers to help equip them with skills and knowledge to improve their resiliency while faced with current environment under COVID19. Courses we offer: 

    Psychological First Aid 

    Offered as both self-care and care for others. This course equips learners in developing a personal understanding of the     effects of stress, loss, trauma, and grief on others, with emphasis on self-care and personal protection. For more     information Click here

    Fee: $15 per person + HST

    WHMIS

    This course is a requirement for any worker who works with, or in proximity to, hazardous products in the workplace. For     more information Click here

    Fee: $40 per person + HST

    Medical Terminology 

    This course helps provide an introduction to the professional language used by those who are directly and indirectly     involved with the art of healing as well as providing information on medical language and basic human anatomy and     physiology. For more information Click here

    Blood Borne Pathogens 

    This course is designed for individuals who may be exposed to blood and body fluids during the performance of their work     and who wish to gain a more thorough understanding of blood borne pathogens, the prevention of occupational     exposure, and exposure follow-up.     Fire Safety 

    This course teaches participants about the legislated fire safety responsibilities of the employer and the worker, describes     safe work practices related to fire prevention, and provides practical information about emergency response in situations     involving fire.
